This was rejected in favour of Sam Smith’s whining?
This would have been by far the best song of Craig’s era - and that’s from someone who’s a fan of YKMN and Skyfall. I've been humming this since I heard it... Can’t say I remember NTTD at all.

It is better than Smith's effort (then again, what isn't?), but eh ... something about Del Rey rubs me the wrong way (not an innuendo).

Goes without saying that this is better than Nails Scratching on the Wall. Lana Del Rey has a perfect 'sound' for Bond IMO.
I assume the title is a not-so-subtle reference to SPECTRE being the 24th film?

Definitely better than Sam Smith, but what isn't? (Belay that. The White/Keys abomination plumbs the very lowest depths.) That said, this song is too draggy and there's nothing memorable about it. The girl can sing, though. I'll give her that.
