I am very optimistic as absolutely nothing could be worse than QoS in the lame pc department. The franchise can only go up - one would hope at least. Totally agree with you here. I think it's WAY too early to jump to conclusions about B23 . Once we actually have a story, and actual performances then we can judge. Frankly, everything looks promising so far, and more so than QOS: Mendes directing, Roger Deakins directing photography, Fiennes, Bardem...I personally haven't seen Harris' performances, so I can't say. But I don't understand why she should be written off on face value. Again, even with this roster, B23 could still turn out being dud by all the hype. But I have my fingers crossed! |

| Yep hope springs eternal in the planning stages as the upside is in full bloom- not yet torn down by reality. Each fall 30 NHL hockey teams gather for training camps in preparation for the new season. Hope is in the air. The past (QoS) is in the past. Each team seems to have enough potential upside to project into a playoff spot or even a championship................but then the season starts....reality sets in...and the grumbling begins. For now B23 is all peaches and cream. Never mind that its being produced by the same team that produced the previous dismal effort. |

| New Bond girl rumours: Margarita Levieva - Quote :
- According to British tabloid, The Mirror, 31 year old Russian beauty Margarita Levieva has been asked about her availability in October/November of this year - a date in every Bond fan's diary.
The red top is quoting an unnamed insider: "The perfect Bond girl is beautiful, confident but mysterious, and Margarita has all of those qualities.
The deal will need to be finalised sooner rather than later, because the schedule for production is supposed to get under way in around October this year."
Fans of the franchise will recall that on Craig's first two outings, cameras were rolling on principal photography before a Bond girl was revealed to the world.
Levieva graduated from the prestigious New York Meisner programme whose alumni includes the inimitable Steve McQueen.
The conclusion of this article, a roundup of various rumours, even notes that "Freida Pinto is also thought to have been approached by 007 producers", although Pinto cleared up any rumours of her involvement months ago. The paper also touts both Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes as confirmed to star, and notes that Naomi Harris will be breathing new life into Fleming's classic character of Miss Moneypenny. Not sure this one is true however. Have a look at this article. I highlighted all of the mistakes related to Bond: - Quote :
- The 31-year-old American actress Margarita Levieva, who was born in the Soviet Union, will be a new Bond girl in the 23rd 007 movie. The new film with a working title of “Bond-23” will be the third in the trilogy, including Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
Little information is available about Margarita Levieva. She was born in Leningrad, present St. Petersburg, in 1980. Her family moved to Brooklyn when she was 11. Margarita followed a gymnastics training course up to the age of 13. Later, she graduated from New York University as an economist. She worked as a fashion buyer for some time. In 2004, Levieva started acting in films. She starred as Ashton Kutcher’s love interest in “Spread” and alongside Matthew McConaughey in “Lincoln Lawyer”. Margarita Levieva was named one of New York’s 50 most beautiful people in 2005 by New York Magazine. At present, she caught the eye of producers who want her to play the lead female character alongside Daniel Craig, who is set to reprise his role as 007 in the 23rd James Bond film. In fact, reportedly, the two have deep affection, which influenced the producers’ selection. Margarita Levieva will be the second after Ukrainian Olga Kurilenko Bond girl from the former Soviet republics. According to Victor Matizen, the president of Russia’s film experts and critics guild, the choice was practically motivated.
“She is a popular actress. In fact, famous actresses are rarely invited for the roles of James Bond girls. Usually, models and sportswomen are selected. If the film is linked to an exotic country, the producers invite an actress with an exotic look,” Victor Matizen said.
It must be said that Levieva was selected following a serious competition. Earlier, reports said that an English actress Naomie Harris was undergoing casting for the role of the Bond girl. She actually did get a role in the film, as the secretary to the head of Mi-6. Famous actresses have starred as Bond girls in previous films. Among them are Eva Green, Michelle Yeoh, Freida Pinto and an Oscar winner Halle Berry. Nevertheless, the role of the Bond girl is usually just profitable work.
Shooting of the new film will begin in October. Among the other participants in the film are Ralf Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Judy Dench. The film is expected to come out in the autumn of 2012. The script of the film has been kept secret. However, journalists say that the events are taking place in Southern America.
And according to imdb, there is a new rumor stating Alice Braga is to appear. I know it's imdb, but I wonder if there is any articles behind it to support it somehow. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1074638/

| Well another relatively unknown Eastern European wouldn't be that different a choice from QoS. So it's not entirely impossible this rumor has some truth to it... |

| I'd suggest Peyton List. She's best known for her role as Jane on MAD MEN, but she's not too well known that she'd over shadow or compete with Craig. Good actress from what I've seen, with a unique look. |

She'd be 26 when BOND-23 came out. And if you watch MAD MEN you know she looks mature. I thought even Denise Richards looked mature in her tank top, shorts, combat boots, and up-swept hair when we first met her in TWINE. It was only by putting her in a blue-jean jacket and purple tube skirt, with her hair permed and below her shoulders that she then appeared to be "too young" for Bond. Peyton List could work. Or....Mellissa George? She looks like a younger Greta Scaachi. |

Oh, and we did have Fiona and Helga, and while the former has the curves, Plenty, Jinx, Christmas, Paris and Sylvia had some nice curves too! |

Paluzzi as Fiona Karin Dor as Helga St. John as Tiffany Case Arterton as Fields To name the 4 obvious ones. Might be some others. Hendricks would be in good company. If I was re-casting DAF, I might consider Hendricks to play Tiffany Case, opposite Henry Cavill as Bond. Casting the rest of the lot might be fun too. Have to give it some thought. |

| let's get an actress who is a WOMAN, not a GIRL!
I just watched Serving Sara... yes, I know, a dumb movie but
Elizabeth Hurley is hot in it - she's hot in anything.
Why can't she be a Bond Girl, she's only 46.
So what if she's 2 years and 3 months older than Craig!! |

Purrrrrr!! A Bond Girl should not have gray hair....even down there..... Based upon your Imagebam link, I'd say Liz is too old. Bond Girls should be somewhere between 22-25 years old, with an ample bust, trim waist, and an i.q. to match their age. |

| Ol' Liz does tend to have airbrushing to the nth degree which would I'd imagine mess about with the image when on a cinema screen. |
