| What kind of supporting characters would you like to see? Any specific ones from the novels, or any archetypes you'd like to return? What kind do you think will appear?
One thing I noticed is that Craig has yet to play against a 'bad' Bond girl. I'm not sure how his Bond would react to one - I just can't see Craig playing games like Bond did with Xenia or Fiona. Of course, they could spin her in a different direction. But I think it's a safe bet they'll try a villainess on him before his tenure is up.
I do think it would be refreshing to return to the creepy old hag villainess (eg Klebb or Bunt). |

| From Fleming's novels, I'd really like to see Krebbs and Mr Du Pont be translated on screen. I thought they were great characters. Was there a Mr Du Pont in Craig's Casino Royale? If there was, they could bring the actor back, couldn't they? Provided that he's any good at acting....
Bond did have Valenka in Casino Royale but there weren't any interactions between the two. What if she was to return as another villain's whore. Remember, it was her who tried to kill him, so it could have an extra layer of tension added to their interactions. Otherwise, I'm hoping for another Fiona type character. One of the best to come out of the franchise. And obviously they could her type of character like. I also really like Helga Brandt, who was pretty much inspired by Fiona. |

| I liked how Valenka was eye candy, but never became a potential conquest.
I would've liked for them to bring back Mathis, as it's cool to have an ally that isn't killed to give Bond motive. Maybe Mathis can turn up alive in the next film, only really pissed off this time, living in a mansion that MI6 gave him to make up for the fact that Bond left him for dead in a dumpster. |

This should be a recurring element! |

| How about James Molony? If someone has to spout psychobabble at Bond, I'd much prefer it from him than M. |

This should be a recurring element! that would be real funny. "Sorry Mathis. I know I left you to be tortured first time around and next time took your money and left you for dead in a dumpster, but can't we just put all that behind us" |

On the contrary - he sould be extremely pleased and say something along the lines of "robbing my wallet was a nice touch - added some extra value to my compensation package!" ;) |

| Maybe QOS had a deleted scene we don't know off where right when the credits end, Mathis crawls out of the bin dust himself off and walks into the night...
Well, never mind. |

Seriously! When I was a teenager making a 25min 007 super8 spoof, we still managed to include Moloney as a character (even though he wound up being a double agent for the Armenian Secret Service ... The Man From A.S.S.) If Babs is serious about making Bond some kind of academy considered drama (not that she should be), you'd figure some kind of KLUTE-style therapy scenes intercut with traditional action would be a step in the right direction. |

| What's sad is that Purvis & Wade are just as likely to make Molony a double agent. TRAITOR OMG
Think about it - who better than Bond's psychiatrist? Quantum could use Bond's couch confessions against him. That wet dream about a Vesper-M threeway would be invaluable info. Drama and intrigue abounds. |

Drama and intrigue abounds. Could even spin the GOLDEN GUN brainwash to kill M bit a little, and have Moloney being the one who conditions Bond to try to shoot M ... "Listen to me, Palmer .... LISTEN to me ... " The Ipcress Bond Actually, just writing this reminded me of when I had a writing partner for a brief largely unpleasant period. He had a really out there idea that you'd find out that M. tipped Blofeld where Bond was getting married, so Bond wouldn't be able to leave the service. There's a lot of paranoid and twisted ways to deal with the Bond/M relationship ... even the thing in the Pearson book that suggests M. was a nudist with compromising pics taken is something that could play with the female M (though obviously you'd leave the images unseen.) |

I'm not sure about that - EON love to use Judi Dench in any capacity possible. |

Either way, that brainwash episode needs to be filmed someday. The image of M's face distorted by liquid poison trickling down glass is just too good to pass up. And M as a nudist? That's it, I'm starting that book tonight. |

It's been too long since we've had a female villain such as Klebb or Bunt in the films, and I think it would be interesting to see Bond take on such a character. It would be nice to see the series return to these types of characters during the Craig Era because I think they could really do some good things with such characters again. |
