Yes. All of them rubbish.

nah, lightweight, but not rubbish

remember she's a singer turned movie actress, so you have to judge her by a lesser standard

in that context she's had her moments

only Frank and occasionally Bing and Deano have really risen above mediocrity

(feel free to point out the other singer actor standout performances that I'm sure I've failed to mention, (Justin Timberlake anyone?)
but remember we are talking singers taking on non-singing dramatic acting roles )

No that is an opinion. ;)

I do not mind Madonna, if I happen to run into her films I would watch simply because everybody says they are crap. I do not care all that much for the general opinion. Now I have to go and watch Hudson Hawk with Bruce W. another great fun movie that people seem generally to dislike.

For all of my earlier caterwauling, it's true that Madonna and film just don't mix. This applies to Sting as well. Although I do like the two film tracks he had on Ten Summoner's Tales.

That being said, I haven't seen Madonna's directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom.

That being said, I don't want to.

Apparently she's stolen some of Tom Ford's crew from A Single Man for this, which is possibly amusing.
