Er, yeah ... it's like he's checking the size of his personal 'weapon' because he's carrying what looks like the smallest gun of the six :suspect: .

Now that I think of it, this will be the first home video release of all the Bond films packaged together. Not counting the previous sets that merely packaged separate box sets together.
Weren't the UEs released simultaneously as complete and partial box sets?

If you do have a blu ray player and are already a Bond fan you already have 2/3rds of the collection on that format and probably the whole set already on DVD (at least once)

I haven't been to one in a while but VHS tapes are pretty much given away if you visit toward the and of any car boot sale (and increasingly so are dvd's).

that trailer has no Lazenby or OHMSS scenes in it and waaaaaayyyyyyy to much Daniel Craig!!
It's the Bond Film Franchise 50th Anniversary, not Daniel Craig's 50th Birthday!!
s it just my imagination or does Craig has poor posture?
he looks like an Ape from the Darwin Evolution Chart!

Seems like he's cupping his balls.
The Moore image is the only one that doesn't look doctored. Lazenby looks especially terrible.
However, I'm not really surprised. A company worth a fortune, and they can't even hire a decent artist to their box art.

I certainly believe the Craig and Brosnan posture for the gunbarrels are appalingly inept. Although it does echo the 'knowlingly indestructible' vibe that undermines tension in their respective movies, who needs to present a reduced target when your body would effortlessly deflect a bullet or wall when it suits ^^

Why would they re-release the DVDs, which have already been released twice?

because 9 out of the first 20 Bond Films never got a Blu-Ray release on Region 1 here in the USA.
I don't know about the other Region!!

Way too much. They even got the blue-trunks abomination in and and Craig and Wright's "gay" bar-exchange.
This set will appeal to those who haven't started a blu-ray collection yet. Fair enough.
Meantime, I will wait for the 9 new releases to be released individually or in three-paks again, or whatever.
It won't be long before everything is in the bargain bin anyway. The original Bond blu-ray 3-paks were retailing at Best Buy, over the holidays for $15.00/pak. That's 5 bucks a blu-ray. At that price, you could collect 13/22 titles for $65.00.
Compare with the original 3-pak retail price of $59.99 ($20.00/blu-ray)

Craig can't do the Bond walk with any grace. He's too bulky. Neither could Brosnan but for different reasons.

They're not going to go through the expense of redoing the DVD transfers. The market for new release DVD's is simply too small right now.
I wouldn't put it past them to dump the UE's back on the market, though. The same thing was done with the SE's to tie in with DAD.

oh.... I didn't recognize her - she's wearing too many clothes.
when I see her photos on the internet, she's usually in lingerie, semi-naked or in different state of undress.

because this set is in Blu-Ray only; it won't be on "regular" DVD.
Hence the title of this thread.
