Rate the SKYFALL teaser poster...

Never thought I'd say it, but the SF publicity campaign makes me yearn for the Brozza days!:

I got my Skyfall poster today (fortunately I live in a city that boasts a movie-poster warehouse and retail outlet). Up on my wall it goes, in place of Quantum of Solace.

Cor, and I thought the QoS poster was colourles...

BTW I like the new banner. Dr. No - Skyfall; classic

Am I the only one that didn't mind the QOS teaser poster? :|

It's a good stretch better than the theatrical, I'll say that.



50 miles to Taco Bell.

So very, very terrible. Pure gunk.

Gave it a 3. It's simple, it's safe, it tells us nothing and provokes zero excitement. It's a Bond gunbarrel (unfortunately not the classic design) which we've seen a million times before, with an image of Craig looking depressed again (which I now feel like I've seen a million times before). It's black and white, so this sh*t is serious (yawn x1000). The only thing they haven't delivered on this poster which I thought would be a dead cert are the craggy 100-year old features of M, now as good as sharing equal billing with James Bond.

I don't mind a Bond poster using a gunbarrel (both posters for TLD were brilliant), but doing it in a more colourful, exciting and less predictably morose way wouldn't have killed anyone. My score of 3 is based on the dire posters for the last few films ranging between 1's and 2's... As this one's slightly better, it's a 3.

Being borderline OC I have to have the poster anyway. Now I have it, so I can enjoy the luxury of remaining unfulfilled until I can snag a release sheet in November.
