 The two best posts I have ever read on these forums, which is saying something, given the number of witty people who post here!

As long as Obama doesn't do anything that'll make j7 blow a gasket, he should be able to keep his red fonted temper under control.
Or not...

On a more serious note, exactly why was j7wild banned for a month? I joined a few days after his suspension started, and the posts he left (at least the recent ones I bring myself to read) seem very poorly written, but in a hilariously inept way :joker: . Some of them give me a good laugh. Now, granted, I can't see any posts that got deleted or anything he PMed to people, so I can't tell what got him banned.
If for no other reason than to clarify matters for the rest of us, what was j7wild's problem? He made stupid posts with 16 zillion tiny pictures of scantily clad women, yes, but then again we happily tolerate threads on this forum where people talk about penises in post after post. He annoyed some people, but the very helpful "foes" option allows you to ignore people you don't like.

The thread below gives a bit of the chronology of events.
As I've mentioned before, I feel a bit of sympathy for him, we used to get along well, especially in PM.

Unfortunately I can't access that thread, as "only users granted special access" may do so. Must be pretty crazy stuff . . .

Essentially, his presence was a threat to this forum's continuation. He broke some rules which were relayed to Forummotion and M after a couple of warnings.
I deleted the above link. Anyone with an issue PM me.

I don't think there is anything Obama could do that would prevent j7 from exploding. Even if he came out tomorrow and announced that everything he had done to date was wrong, j7 would still find it in him to criticise Obama, probably for not admitting it soon enough or some such.

I'd like to know how he got here in the first place. I never even knew of BAB's existence until Sharky invited me over here (though I did occasionally wonder where some of the old crowd from MI6 went after MI6book was launched), and even then, I caused a few ripples because some people dislike me (but don't worry; the feeling is mutual). So I can't imagine how j7 ever managed to get an invite, given his reputation on the old MI6 forums.

Sorry about that. We currently have an "archives" section viewable by mods only. Basically it's the more private stuff kept for prosperity. I'll contact M to change the requirements so all members with a minimum of 100 posts can access it.

He managed to get on Ambler's nerves (along with several others) to the point of losing him if j7 was stopped. I'd rather lose j7wild (for all his entertainment value) than a vet like Ambler. I was like you in the first couple of months of j7wild's reign of idiocy, but slowly I cracked. If it was just the spamming of models I'd be fine, but it was more than that. Reams of pointless topics, infantile rants, antisemitism (once he linked to Stormfront - the neo-nazi site), racism, and refusal (or more like plain inability) to see he was in the wrong. 6 months of that.
In the words of Ambler and M from the thread Mrs. Sects linked to:
Erica Ambler wrote:
I struggled to reconcile my belief in free speech with what J7wild was actually saying. Things got so bad that I decided that I could no longer be in a forum with someone with such abhorrent views, and it seems others made the same complaint to M. Sharky removed J7 in response and, though it's sad it had to come to that, I applaud him for it.
Must say I never thought the day would come when I thought someone should be banned for their views, but J7 got increasingly worse and the place was becoming unbearable, at least as far as I was concerned. As the forum was on public display, I think the situation was unsustainable. Without wishing to sound too ponderous I think J7's sometimes racist and even libellous views had begun to endanger the forum's continued existence.
M wrote:
Thirteen complaints in my inbox and two from Forumotion themselves, among them constant allegations of racism and offensive/inflammatory content tell their own story. It's not worth the risk of his presence if it causes good members to leave and gets us in trouble with our forum hosts.
M wrote:
Mods have my full backing to ban or suspend j7wild if he posts anything deliberately offensive again. I agree with Ambler that his "contributions" are harming the forums for the most part. I've given him an endless amount of rope and all he's done is made his own noose with it and, while we've always tried to advocate free speech here to as far an extent as possible, there's a line marked "common sense" which j7wild keeps crossing.
Fire at will with this guy. He's had a pile of chances to wise up.

I have no idea. All I remember is the general "oh shit!" feeling we had.

To me, j7's always been a chilling vision of what CASINOROYALE from MI6 is going to 'grow up' to be.

I didn't know it was for mods only. I've seen everything in there for some time and I'm not a Mod, that's why I posted the link cuz I thought others can see it too. My apology if I shouldn't have done that.

Odds are, j7wild has a contingency plan and will turn the tables on his protagonists. He's going to start his own girlie site, which will feature a forum that includes a 007 board. Sorta like the one on superhero hype, but with lots of NSFW forums as well.
Lisbeth herself could learn a thing or two from him. In fact, she's probably cornholing him now with a pendrive while they discuss the intricasies of anonymous proxies, passfiles, bruteforce tools and other exploitable weaknesses associated with ccbilling, epoch, and other pay sites which employ ocr form logins for access to premium internet porn.
I'm one of the few that won't underestimate him. Be afraid. Be very afraid. :drunken:

Afraid, I'm positively pensive.

Are the moderators above banning j7 on principle, or do they have to wait for him to give them a reason to ban him?

Honestly, he should be banned for the Sarah Michelle Gellar avatar. Don't get me wrong; there's nothing wrong with her. She's just too awesome to be his avatar.

I really want to ban him on principle, but M advised against it. Wait for him to tie his own noose.

seriously? He's been gone since April 10th thereabouts. The absence of scores of new topics and screeching probably was a tip:)
