Yeah, as long as the script's good, SPECTRE should be worth seeing. Fortunately, Mendes seems to be one of an increasingly rare breed of directors who recognises that's all-important.

Another interesting aspect about Mendes as a director is that he's hired a mature set of actors. Everyone's over 35, except for Whishaw and Seydoux. Most of them are over 40.

Woohoo, great cast. Love the title. Though I had hopes for Blofeld as a title. And the teaser poster is just fab! YAY!

Liking much of what I see. The title's not too bad, seems to be in line with films nowadays to largely go for short and easy-to-remember titles. Theme song's going to be interesting.

I doubt it will be called Spectre though...unless it's done by Duran Duran of course.

Bellucci waited 17 years for a/this role to come back around to her.

Brosnan waited 8 for his role to come back around.

Particularly striking when you consider that your chances of becoming a Bond Girl decrease as you get older. Not only has she waited twice as long as Brosnan, but she'll have a much better part now than if she had taken the role of Paris in TND.

Still,I am astonished that they're going with a 50 year old woman as a co-Bond Girl. I applaud the unconventional choice, and the resistance to always go super-young. I suspect Mendes is using his new found clout to make a lot of these changes.

Spectre just makes me cringe.

It is kind of an odd choice, sounds like something you'd pick last minute when out of other ideas for titles. But I'm pleased to see the return of SPECTRE all the same.
