I am a long time Bond fan and all around discussion lover. I keep my internet posting to a minimum, for I have a larger preference towards face to face interaction. However, I have recently found that my former Bond forum go-to has been populated by a growing number of children that, while I love most of them, do not fully challenge me intellectually or stimulate any sort of brain activity what-so-ever as of late. On reference by one of your lovely members here, I have decided to climb on board. I am terribly open-minded and enjoy opinions. That being said, do not think I do not have any of my own.

Bond-wise, I am keen to Dalton and Connery. I really love Craig and yes, while he may be my favorite, that will be a decision left for post-career dissection. Moonraker is my favorite Fleming novel. Otherwise, if you have any questions let me know. I hope my stay here is comfortable and pleasant.

Christ, I had no idea there were any problems over there. I've never had any problems with CB.n, everyone over there has always been welcoming, it's just that I haven't been as regular a visitor over there as I should have been for the last 7 years; to think that all of the posts I slaved carefully for hours over during those 7 years could have been saved had I only posted them at CB.n instead of MI6.

And only one mod left at CB.n...? I'd always had the impression people wanted to be mods, so I can't imagine how on earth that scenario came about. I don't like seeing CB.n having tough times though, as I've plenty of respect for the members there (and also I guess most of the previous mods), but I've just never been as comfortable with the layout over there as I was with the old MI6 and now this place.

To make a long story short: CBn has become a cesspool with absolutely no leadership and a refuge for trolls. All the former mods have grown-up and have thus moved on from that stage in their lives. Recruiting a new batch of mods would have been the right move but that never happened. Now we're left with a ghost town with only one active mod.

Anyway...hopefully this place will be a lot less depressing. ;)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say if we made a thread filled with pictures of Adele and James Bond fan fiction, we wouldn't have to worry about Mr. Blofeld ever again because his hands would be too busy for typing if you know what I mean.

Blofeld's been suspended as well. But he will go back to his old ways once suspension ends on September 3rd.
