| Could it be that neither Boris nor Ed are either cool or attractive? That's the camp I'm in, anyway. |

| That's a question mark, there's a reason why it's called question mark. But I'm sorry if I offended you, it's really none of my business. Obviously. |

| Shouldn't aptitude in written English come from education and not age? |

| I'm really dreadful sorry if I made it sound as if I was stating the - for me - obvious. I truly wouldn't have guessed I was touching on such a sensitive issue for you, Ambler.
Aptitude in written English, regardless of age, can never be an excuse for rudeness and bad manners. I was of the impression my remark would not meet with utter incomprehension. I was plain wrong there. |

| Proof (if it were needed) that Nigel Farage is unfit for public office. He believes that Tony Blair was British prime minister between 1997 and 2005:

| Oh no, he mixed 2005 up with 2007.
I'm sure the Special Olympian has never made a worse gaffe (if you can even apply that term to something so trivial). |

| Corruption of this kind exists all over the country, as anybody who followed UKIP's suspension of Amjad Bashir knows. Nothing serious will be done about it. Postal voting won't be restricted as it should be. Tower Hamlets will probably soon be controlled by Labour figures from the same community using the same tactics on a smaller and less obvious scale. |

| Ambler: as a writer what is your take on the Greens proposal to change copyright laws? |

Of course it would have to be a smaller and less obvious scale, anything bigger and more obvious is hardly thinkable any more. Outside of Capone's Chicago, that is. But it would hardly be any less scandalous if Tower Hamlets was controlled by any other flavour of corrupt politicians. Postal voting offers more ways for fraud, that's obvious. But a character like Rahman would hardly shy away from other ways of reaching into the polling booth, with or without postal voting. |

The Green party may be forced to backtrack on its proposals to limit UK copyright terms to 14 years after a howl of protest from prominent writers and artists including Linda Grant, Al Murray and Philip Pullman.
The Greens’ manifesto said the party aims to “make copyright shorter in length, fair and flexible” with the party’s policy website saying it would “introduce generally shorter copyright terms, with a usual maximum of 14 years”. Representatives of the party said on Thursday that length could be revised after a consultation.http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/apr/23/green-party-plan-to-limit-copyright-attacked-by-writers-and-artists |

| Truth be told, it was a joke. As for example Shark got right from the start. Who am I to accuse such a ostentatiously virile, faultless and emblematic specimen of the XY chromosome set of anything but straightforwardness? How would I dare? Ambler, it was your own piss-poor touchy reaction that lend my question - rhetoric as it may have been - a gravitas it didn't have in the first place. From what I've read by you I could never guess somebody so adept at pissing off others wasn't able to handle a little fun himself. Do yourself a favour and put me on ignore, I shall do the same with all of your excessive 'manliness' and we shall not mention it again, okay?
