| Actually, according to that italian article it's "likely" to be released on that date, but not confirmed by EON themselves.

For what it's worth, MI6 also has a few reputable members saying it's due next week. (I'm seeing Pixels Monday, so I may be able to confirm if trailers are screened with it.) If Sony wants to go outside of their own house, Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, which is out July 31, or The Man From U.N.C.L.E. on Aug. 14 are good candidates. For reference, it looks like the second trailer for Skyfall released online July 31 ahead of Total Recall on Aug. 3. |

| From what I understand, I don't think SPECTRE will be all that gritty, though the teaser trailer kind of painted it that way. It sounds like it's going to be a little lighter than Skyfall. |

| The OHMSS theme is a nice touch, but it does feel a bit like fan service (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) - it doesn't match the visuals at times. |
