Love it.
Marion's Theme sounds like it belongs in a 70s daytime drama.
By the way, I just realized this guy does the music for Seth MacFarlane's shows.

Great purchase. Though as a word of warning, watch out of the huge gong (I'm guessing about 60" or more in diameter) hit for the discovery of Plenty's body - 0:57 in Following the Diamonds. My shitty subwoofer can't take those low hertz.

I'll bear that in mind. I tend to listen to music on headphones so I'll prep myself. Though huge gong just sounds nasty, as ol' Leslie would say :)
been meaning to get DAF for a while in full. Odd bits on my laptop but not much else.

Pity I never saved the resequencing guide from old MI6, you could have edited the whole score into sequence.
Anywho, love "Tiffany Case".
Someone just edited a typo before I could. Weird.

Only track on the album that does nothing much for me. :)
Innocuous lounge, but nowhere in the same league as "Diamonds Are Forever (Source)", "Try", or "Dance with Domino."

Diamonds Are Forever (Bond and Tiffany) reminds me of when people, so they say, pictured Lazenby in DAF well when reading that long ago magnum opus. Shouldn't detract from it much but can picture Lazenby a little.
Looks...it's late

I just enjoy it, I don't think it's one of the great cues.
One bit I love is from "Death at the Whyte House" when the lift door opens and the "Wint and Kidd" theme comes in.

The doom that that ominous descending bass line brings is pretty much incomparable in Barry's oeuvre. Almost as chilling as the Wint and Kidd theme itself.

And I love the Bond theme/DAF hybrid in "Bond Meets Bambi and Thumper"

Those glissandoing flutes at the end seal the deal for me. Too cool for words.

I sure wish I knew shit about music. But I know what you're referring to. I'm ashamed, but that "breast stroke lessons" line went right by me for years.

Hans Zimmer Featuring Rodrigo Y Gabriela – Pirates Of The Carribean - On Stranger Tides (Europe release)
The last POTC scored by Hans Zimmer (include 7 Remixes with help of Rodrigo Y Gabriela).
For € 5,00. The old price € 19,99. Like TDK who i bought last year it whas the last one, the only one there have and not looking new whlye the earlier price claimt that.
After the high price of Limited Edition 5 disc set with the previous scores and bonus cd and dvd it be nice to have this 4th movie for a cheaper price. It don't have the extra flyer the American version have (who is more spoiler free too), have been include.

an unique sound for a soundtrack, tracks like the Wild Theme and Rocks and the Water paint an almost tranquil picture.

Last night dug out my extended Bullitt CD. Well, extended to the one I had years before. A particular favourite remains Just Coffee. Comes as Bullitt is leaving one morning, Cathy's eating breakfast, no dialogue just this music -suggesting danger, tension even. Then perhaps The Architect's Building...just the sound of these tracks.
