The most important thing is that no one individual should ever be allowed to become bigger than the group. This place has suffered for more than year from a deeply misguided attempt to protect the rights of an individual who massively destabilised the community. No doubt such tolerance was well intentioned, but it shouldn’t be allowed to happen again. Call names, this should be fun :face: |

| Some good members haven't used the forums recently, so I won't be calling time on an important poll while there's only a paltry total of 21 votes. |

| An important poll should be a sticky. This thread was no longer visible in the sub-forum until I revived it.
If you're going to let this poll continue then at least impose a deadline or all momentum for change will be lost. If it hasn't been already. |

| I think it's time we looked at which topics generate lots of activity and which don't, then rearrange the boards accordingly to focus on what our members view as our forum's main points of interest. Even as a Bond fan of 30+ years, the first thing I usually do when visting here is to scroll down past the "Bond" section to view "Beyond", as I'm sure many other active posters here do. When there's nothing major going on with Bond, then the entire top half of the front page is dead space.

A very sensible suggestion it seems to me. You must have a background in marketing, I presume, Mr Lazenby? |

| We should call this place CULTURECIDE. Not only does it highlight how we here probably diss or kill modern culture more than we praise it (that said, the public at large are in their own way doing the same), not only does it also address the current political, professional and social decay and disillusionment in Britain/The Nation, but it also abbreviates "CULTURE and CInema for the Dedicated (or Disillusioned?) Enthusiast. It's a universal title, it sounds cool, sounds as genuine as any other one-word-title culture website, and I think it could help us bring in some non-Bond fans now that we've surely exhausted our poaching of members from other Bond sites..... |

Well, if we're taking inspiration from Primal Scream song titles, how about: KOWALSKI - Kind of worried about losing some kindly individuals. LOADED - Lots of amiable, dedicated, enthusiastic dudes. ROCKS - Ravings of cultural kindred spirits. |

| I like the name Bond and Beyond. Keep it. I just wish we could get some more posting members on here. Things are very slow/sluggish a lot of the time here despite us die-hards best intentions. |

Precisely. The whole disillusioned approach just sounds unappealing and it's one of the aspects of this site that I find at its weakest. It just makes this place sound like a stick in the mud. |

| I just don't want this site to forget that it's based on a blockbuster film series that is inherently silly. I'm not suggestion we put in a robot from TRANSFORMERS onto the banner to cater to their audience, but this place should be more fun and inviting. |

| As I've said before, warmer colours would go a long way. This isn't the bleeding Death Star. |

Pastel shades apparently attract young women, according to a cigarette sales rep I was talking to - they are changing the packaging on Golden Virginia tobacco to pastel shades as this appeals to young women. Perhaps BaB should do the same? |
