"JAMAIS VU" You bumped a thread that's been dead for a year for THIS? Might work better in a Luc Besson flick, like a sequel to Lucy or something. |

| RISICO THE HILDEBRAND RARITY THE PROPERTY OF THE LADY
Just so that one of them can no longer be brought up as suggested titles for future Bond films. Get em over with. 007 IN NEW YORK, of course that's just not happening.
A title I'd like? SHATTERHAND. It's a great name for a villain, thus a good title. It's been awhile since we had a title that alluded to the villain. |

| The Man With The Golden Gun is the last one; Octopussy being the last one where a main character's name lends the film's title. As mentioned on the previous page, I'd like Shatterhand also.
If The Property of the Lady does come up, I hope it alludes to Octopussy. |

| I learned a new word today which immediately struck me as being somewhat Fleming-ian: "zemblanity". It's the opposite of serendipity; where serendipity is a happy coincidence, zemblanity is an unhappy, deliberate occurrence. It's an awkward word, and I'm not sure how it could be a Bond title (something like "The Zembla Associate" sounds like a Robert Ludlum title), but I think it describes a lot that Bond encounters. |

Ian Fleming-ian? James Bond isn't an agent of the department of education. If he were I'd go with Llanfairpwllgwyngyll for B24. That or Rugmuncher. Unmistakably Ian Fleming-ian... |

I think it's about time we have a Bond movie where 007 goes rogue. It should also feature a Bond Girl who's his equal. |

It needs to be gritty... Bond enters the 21st century. Different from all the other ones. Ianflemingianesque. |

| ICEBREAKER
Maybe the scene where the ski lift is being blown up is taken from the 1983 novel ICEBREAKER, where Rivke is "injured" in an explosion on a ski slope.
Speaking of which....that would make a great torture scene in the ice chamber for this film. I'm hoping we're going to get a lot of ice and snow in the film. |

| The full stanza goes like this:
"Tyger, tyger, burning bright In the forests of the night What immortal hand or eye Could frame thy fearful symmetry?"
It's an awkward rhyme, but the idea is that the tiger is the embodiment of ferocity and physical grace. The symmetry comes from the way Blake presents the tiger as a perfect killing machine, juxtaposing its beauty with its raw animal strength as an apex predator. As the poem goes on, Blake is awestruck by the deliberation that has gone into its creation, questioning why a being that would have created something as docile and innocent as a lamb would have created the tiger. |

| After the announcement of THE FORCE AWAKENS, I got a little more anxious for this one to get its title revealed. I always hated referring to upcoming films by the generic BOND #. For the days when a new upcoming title was revealed at the end of the credits. |
