It's an awkward rhyme, but the idea is that the tiger is the embodiment of ferocity and physical grace. If MI6 Community is to be believed... SPECTRE is the rumored title, according to someone who's close with production. I'll believe it when EON announces that.

If true, I could live with it. It would be kind of refreshing for EON to not go with a name that's secretive.

My aunt tells me there's a website called Bondara that does a nice line in speculums. I expect that's the cause of the confusion.

One of them posted about a December 4th press conference date, with no source, and those fuckwits would rather argue about Waltz's hair color. Un-fucking-believable.

If the word SPECTRE is included in a bigger title, then yes, I could go with it. But just the name SPECTRE by itself is awful. Why not just call the film:

DANGER

or

SPYING

or

KILLING

or

DYING.

Cause unlike those titles, SPECTRE really says something.

Of course, if it's gonna be a part of a bigger title, maybe SPECTRE OF DEFEAT?

Just as long as they avoid RISE/DAWN OF SPECTRE.

Someone at CBn reckons the film's initials are "LDLF". The source for this is apparently Kim Jong-un, who hasn't denied that he sponsored hackers in China to break into Sony Pictures' database and threaten to "release their secrets" in retaliation for THE INTERVIEW.

I really hope that's true. How often will we get to blame Seth Rogen for pissing off His Flatulence, The Little Dictator Who Could into holding the title of the film hostage because he can't take a joke?

Do we have markup for spoilers? We should have markup for spoilers. And yes, I'm rambling to give you enough time to opt out of reading this if you don't want to know, and something something something, you've had enough time to make up your mind.

Anyway, according to Baz Bamigboye - by way of Twitter - the title will be "La Bella Donna Forte", which translates as "the strong, beautiful woman". Apparently EON are no longer content to have every single actor describe her character as being strong, and so have decided to remind us all of this in the title. Although I suppose the interpretation of the title may change depending on whether you use "forte" as an abstract noun or as an adjective.
