| US$299,363,000 as of this weekend.
It will cross $300m within the next 7 days....Mon-Thur will be slow, averaging about $125k-150k per day and might not be reported by the studio, so we might have to wait till weekend when it actually crosses that milestone. |

| Its worldwide total is now $1.033 billion, placing it 11th all-time worldwide unadjusted. It should rest comfortably in the top 10 after it hits China. Pretty unbelievable.

| Dutch: In the 13th week Adele in Top 40 charts moved from the 6th to the 7th place. There be a litle bit late with the 14th week on the official page but the Dutch wiki page of Skyfall single confirm the song stick on the 7th place in week 14. The movie in his 11th week go down in the Top 20 from the 3th to the 5th place and from 113 to 109 theater counts. After 11 weeks the movie have delieverd around 24,5 million with $24,352,343 and with those results it beat Avatar who deliever totaly more then 23,5 million and soon will cross the line of 25 million. More then 345.000 for a unexpect 11 week the movie is running is stil good, earlier Bond movies already be 1 or 2 weeks earlier out of the cinema. Casino Royale whas from the 3th week of November 2006 and i saw it in the 3th week of January 2007 and 2 weeks later the movie whas gone. If the movie end in the first week of February like CR the movie running 14 weeks, 3 weeks longer because of the 3 weeks earlier release date. Disney should be disapointed to give 111 theater counts to the re-release of Finding Nemo in 3D with a bit more then $ 111.000. The Hobbit must delieverd in 36 screens and have now 186 theater counts left and after 5 weeks the movie deliever $14,072,458. Made The Hobbit the second movie now and put down The Intouchables to the 3th place. Life Of Pi doing very well in the 4 weeks the movie is now released in my country whyle the movie be delayd. Life Of Pi delieverd $4,128,264 and this week go back from 106 theater counts to 105. Stil after 11 weeks boxofficemojo mis credit the release date who i always must manual correct. 1 | Skyfall | Sony | $24,352,343 | 10/31 | 2 | The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey | Warner Bros. | $14,072,458 | 12/13 | 3 | Intouchables | n/a | $12,001,871 | 3/22 | 4 | Ice Age: Continental Drift | WB | $9,673,883 | 7/5 | 5 | The Dark Knight Rises | WB | $8,792,252 | 7/20 | 6 | Alles is familie | AFD | $8,521,006 | 11/22 | 7 | Ted | UPI | $8,398,616 | 9/13 | 8 | Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted | UPI | $7,506,053 | 7/19 | 9 | The Avengers (2012) | Disney | $6,609,804 | 4/25 | 10 | The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 | n/a | $5,609,552 | 11/15 | 11 | Mees Kees | E1 | $5,231,957 | 10/4 | 12 | The Hunger Games | n/a | $4,525,341 | 3/22 | 13 | Life of Pi | Fox | $4,128,264 | 12/20 | 14 | Magic Mike | n/a | $4,112,808 | 7/12 | 15 | American Reunion | UPI | $3,872,019 | 4/5 | 16 | Snow White and the Huntsman | UPI | $3,871,179 | 6/7 | 17 | Alleen maar nette mensen (Only Decent People) | n/a | $3,393,290 | 10/11 | 18 | The Muppets | Disney | $3,379,778 | 2/9 | 19 | De Marathon | n/a | $3,281,734 | 10/18 | 20 | Step Up Revolution | n/a | $3,256,987 | 7/26 | 21 | The Amazing Spider-Man | Sony | $3,052,286 | 6/28 | 22 | MIB 3 | Sony | $2,956,169 | 5/23 | 23 | The Expendables 2 | DFW | $2,955,415 | 8/16 | 24 | Brave | Disney | $2,917,692 | 7/19 | 25 | The Dictator | UPI | $2,836,361 | 5/17 | 26 | Wreck-It Ralph | Disney | $2,743,762 | 12/13 | 27 | De verbouwing | E1 | $2,671,506 | 9/6 | 28 | Titanic 3D | WB | $2,615,303 | 4/5 | 29 | The Descendants | WB | $2,510,197 | 2/2 | 30 | Cool Kids Don't Cry | n/a | $2,504,261 | 2/16 | 31 | The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) | Sony | $2,501,036 | 1/19 | 32 | Dr. Seuss' The Lorax | UPI | $2,477,417 | 4/12 | 33 | Safe House | UPI | $2,444,442 | 2/23 | 34 | The Bourne Legacy | UPI | $2,403,240 | 9/6 | 35 | This Means War | WB | $2,249,406 | 2/23 | 36 | Prometheus | WB | $2,217,912 | 5/31 | 37 | The Iron Lady | n/a | $1,937,439 | 1/12 | 38 | De Groeten van Mike! | AFD | $1,928,791 | 12/13 | 39 | Süskind | n/a | $1,912,323 | 1/19 | 40 | 21 Jump Street | Sony | $1,882,985 | 6/21 | 41 | Jack Reacher | n/a | $1,881,445 | 12/26 | 42 | Project X | WB | $1,878,508 | 3/1 | 43 | Jackie | n/a | $1,827,546 | 5/10 | 44 | K3 Bengeltjes | n/a | $1,822,454 | 12/13 | 45 | What to Expect When You're Expecting | DFW | $1,806,845 | 5/24 | 46 | Taken 2 | n/a | $1,762,745 | 11/22 | 47 | Het Bombardement | DFW | $1,681,598 | 12/20 | 48 | Journey 2: The Mysterious Island | WB | $1,621,815 | 2/16 | 49 | Amour | n/a | $1,574,063 | 11/15 | 50 | Battleship | UPI | $1,546,652 | 4/19 | 51 | John Carter | Disney | $1,537,439 | 3/8 | 52 | Dark Shadows | WB | $1,532,878 | 5/10 | 53 | Jagten (The Hunt) | n/a | $1,512,406 | 10/25 | 54 | Rise of the Guardians | UPI | $1,500,693 | 11/29 | 55 | The Pirates! | SKYFALL is:
-the 42nd movie to cross the $300 million threshold in the US -the second movie released in November to cross $300 million -the highest grossing Sony movie that doesn't star Spiderman (and their first $300 million film since SPIDERMAN 3) -is the highest grossing movie for nearly all the big cast and crew, save Ralph Fiennes (HARRY POTTER) and Thomas Newman (FINDING NEMO) -Easily the biggest Bond movie in the states since THUNDERBALL -has the most Oscar nominations of a Bond film and is the first time a Bond film was in contention since 1981 -Will likely be the first time a Bond film was a top grossing seasonal release since 1964. |

There's a small chance The Hobbit will pass it, but yeah, permitting it does as expected in China, that would be an extraordinary feat. I would have never guessed it would come within $200 million of The Dark Knight Rises worldwide, let alone top it (which it probably will). |

The king is dead. Long live the king.
I think it's reasonable to expect another $50m from China, with $30m being an absolute minimum. Even with the rampant piracy, SKYFALL is a film enhanced by the big screen and that effect still can't be replicated at home.

| Or on the computer.
Still, crazy. Didn't expect it to be this huge. Of course it didn't top the two big ones in the US, probably won't happen unless our country suddenly gets an even bigger case of Bond fever with Bond 24. |

| At this point, I just want it to top The Dark Knight Rises worldwide. |

I think SF will bring in close to $400 million in the U.S. |

It only needs to net another 43 mill to do just that. Looks like a slam dunk. |

It only needs to net another 43 mill to do just that. Looks like a slam dunk. I'd have to imagine a very slim minority of folks saw that happening. |

| I assume Gravy's shamming. SF is on its last legs in the States. I don't think it'll top 320 mill in the US. |

I don't think it will top 305 but it doesn't matter, it's achieved far more than I ever gave it credit for. |

If you can't believe what I'm saying is true, then it clearly is parody. Sometimes you people over-think me. When I'm being for real I type in my deep, broadcast-anchor news voice....if that helps any. |

| In all likelihood, this will be the last update from the rest of the world until Sony's final figures come out. China will be the only territory with sizable grosses from now on.
With a strong showing in China, SKYFALL could possibly pass $800m overseas, which only 5 movies have done before.
EDIT: SKYFALL was actually just released in China yesterday. |
